| [History.net] The current situation of the Israel-Hamas War reminds me of this interesting exchange of letters between William Tecumseh Sherman and John Bell Hood during the Siege of Atlanta in September 1864. The letter Sherman sent to the mayor of Atlanta also is relevant. |
