2023-11-02
[GEO.TV] The United Nations
...where theory meets practice and practice loses...
on Wednesday decried strikes on Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...

UN Secretary-General António Guterres

"is appalled over the escalating violence in Gaza," his front man Stephane Dujarric said.

This includes "the killing of Paleostinians, including women and kiddies in Israeli Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s in residential areas of the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp," Dujarric said.

A strike on the camp killed at least 47 people Tuesday -- including a Hamas commander involved in the October 7 attacks, according to Israel.

"This is just the latest atrocity to befall the people of Gaza where the fighting has entered an even more terrifying phase, with increasingly dreadful humanitarian consequences," Martin Griffiths, the UN humanitarian chief, said in a statement.

He said "the world seems unable, or unwilling, to act," adding "this cannot go on. We need a step change."

Dujarric said that the secretary-general reiterated that all parties "must abide by international humanitarian law including the principles of distinction, proportionality and precaution."
What about hiding terrorists and hostages among civilian populations?
He also called on them to "bring an end to this shocking violence, pain and suffering."

#3  UNWRA report: "Jabalia is the largest of the Gaza Strip's eight [former] refugee camps. It is located north of Gaza City, close to a village of the same name. After the 1948 War, refugees settled in the camp, most having fled from villages in southern Palestine. Today, the camp covers an area of only 1.4 square kilometers. 116,011 Palestine Refugees are registered with UNRWA in Jabalia camp."
In sum, Jabalia is a small city and no longer a refugee camp; however, UNRWA will maintain the fiction as long as Western nations continue to support that miserable operation.
