[IsraelTimes] The Israel Defense Forces says it has seen an overwhelmingly positive response to the draft of reservists to fight in the expected ground offensive in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. In the 252nd Sinai Reserve Division, some 120 percent of reservists have shown up for duty according to the IDF, meaning many troops have arrived at the army’s assembly areas even without receiving a formal order.

The IDF has mobilized more than 300,000 troops in recent days, many of them being deployed to the Gaza border, as the army readies for a "coordinated attack from the air, sea and land."

The military says that following a major logistical effort to provide the ground forces with all the equipment they would need, "IDF forces are preparing to implement a wide range of offensive plans."

In a video statement, the commander of the 252nd Division, Brig. Gen. Moran Omer, says his soldiers are readying themselves for "the next stages."

"The division’s units have been in combat for the past week, and these days are training for the next stages. I am confident that the reserve troops, like the standing army soldiers, together, will beat Hamas
...not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
," Omer says.

#1  In my time the people in the unit who got emergency call-up were phoning others. Nowadays they probably have WhatsApp groups.
