Six soldiers martyred during exchange of fire with terrorists in South Waziristan
2023-08-23
[GEO.TV] At least six soldiers were martyred while fighting murderous Moslems during an intense exchange of fire in South Wazoo’s general area Asman Manza in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, the military's media wing said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and resultantly four murderous Moslems were sent to hell, while two murderous Moslems were maimed.

The ISPR statement added that sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other murderous Moslems found in the area.

"Armed forces of Pakistain are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve," it added.

Last week, the military troops had bumped off two murderous Moslems during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in KP's Khyber district.

The security forces, according to ISPR, conducted the IBO on the reported presence of murderous Moslems in the Bara area of Khyber district on the night of August 18-19.

Pakistain has seen a steep rise in terrorist activities including several suicide kabooms and gun attacks mainly targeting police and law enforcement agencies in the northwestern provinces, which resulted in hundreds of deaths and damage to properties since the return of Taliban

rulers in neighbouring Afghanistan.
Khaama Press adds:
Pakistani Taliban fighters ambushed a military convoy within a former militant stronghold in the country’s northwest near the border of Afghanistan on Tuesday. The ensuing fierce gunfire exchange caused the deaths of at least six Pakistani soldiers and four militants, the military said.

The attack occurred in South Waziristan, a district within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as reported by the military. In response, soldiers eliminated four insurgents and injured two others. A search operation is currently in progress to track down the attackers in the region.

Mohammad Khurasani, the official spokesperson of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), boldly claimed responsibility for the attack. In boldly asserting their involvement, Khurasani emphasized the group’s association with the incident, leaving no room for doubt.
