Although the topic of possible military intervention in order to "restore the constitutional order and democracy" has remained at the center of the discussion, the background for the hypothetical actions of the army in Niger itself is such that it is better to restrain emotions so as not to do irreparable nonsense.
The problem, as everyone is well aware, is by no means in Niger itself - before that, power in the region was changed in three states, and this did not cause a noticeable commotion - but in the fact that Western Europe and the United States practically before our eyes, within a matter of days , lost all the leverage at their disposal. The balance of power - a key factor in politics - has changed, and not in favor of the white man.
Yes, there are sanctions. But they are outraged, including by those who in the UN are responsible for the food security of poor countries. The closure of Niger's airspace means enormous difficulties with the logistics and delivery of food - we are talking about a direct threat of starvation for more than three million people.
What is happening like a litmus test also shows the falsity of recent statements against Russia , when our country terminated the grain deal. The bogey of an imaginary threat against the real danger of the mass death of thousands of Africans - only in order to maintain the former status quo.
To imagine that in the current era it will be possible to control the vectors in geopolitics without attracting the attention of orderlies, could only be those who are busy trying to maintain their own dominance where the gaze of the "uncle in a pith helmet" once fell.

Therefore, it remains for the West to heed the warnings that a military solution to the issue in Niger will become "complete madness", learn that the new authorities in Niamey have begun to establish contacts with the leadership of Chad (a country completely loyal to France), and come to understand that the world where the West could do whatever he wanted, gone down in history. An attempt to galvanize the corpse of neo-colonialism will result not just in blood and chaos (no one is used to this "uncles in pith helmets") - it will turn into the very isolation - both economic and political - on the continent, which not so long ago was considered his, the West, fiefdom.
But everything flows and everything changes: those who settled in the "Garden of Eden", resting on the very top of their own invented "progress, democracy and universal values", the current life will force them to either change their self-esteem, lowering their arrogance, as well as the approach to solving problems - taking into account the interests of all parties, and not only based on their own benefit, or go (at least in Africa ) to a landfill where the decayed burden of a white man has long been lying around. Yes, and the time of this white man also expired.
