The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Marinsk directions, heavy battles are ongoing. During the day, 29 combat clashes took place.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions . He carried out an airstrike in the Bilopyl district of the Sumy region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 25 settlements, including Chuykivka, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Iskryskivshchyna, Pavlivka of the Sumy region and Ivashki, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Vovchansk of the Kharkiv region.
In the direction of Kupyan, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense. Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk and Kislivka of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
On the Lymanskyi direction, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area west of Dibrova, Luhansk region. The settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Berestov, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction , under heavy fire from aviation and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka and Vesely districts of the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Kramatorsk, Kostyantynivka, Bogdanivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Pleshchiivka and Stupochki of the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction , under the fire of enemy aircraft, our defenders repelled all attacks of the occupiers in the area of ​​the city of Avdiivka. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Netaylove, and Karlivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces successfully continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the area of ​​the city of Marinka and near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Gostre, Pobieda and Georgiivka in Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in Makarivka, Blagodatny, Novodarivka and Komar districts and shelled the settlements of Blagodatne, Vugledar, Zolota Niva, Velyka Novosilka, Blagodatne and Zelene Pole of the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. He carried out an airstrike in the area of ​​Orikhov, Zaporizhzhia region. Conducted artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, including Vilne Pole, Vremivka of the Donetsk region; Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Verkhnya Tersa, Preobrazhenka of the Zaporizhzhia region; Dudchany, Vesele, Lviv, Sadov of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson. Ochakiv of the Mykolaiv region also came under fire.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict artillery fire on identified enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.
