According to a spokesperson, the CTD carried out various intelligence-based operations in Gujranwala and Multan amid security threats in these areas and apprehended five terrorists.

The spokesperson said that a key DAESH commander was also arrested during an operation in Gujranwala. He informed that the authorities recovered kaboom, detonators, mobile phones, weapons, and Afghan National Identity Cards from their possession.

The murderous Moslems were identified as: Haneef, Syed alias Saido, Tariq, Khalid and Abdul Sattar. After registering cases against them, the CTD sleuths are interrogating them.

The spokesperson said that in 200 combing operations during current week, 46 suspicious persons were arrested. He said that as many as 10,755 people were investigated during the combing operation.
