Found Footage: Anheuser-Busch explains, ‘we're still 40 percent women, and 60 percent men, still predominantly white: so there's still work to be done.’
2023-05-21
[NationalPulse] Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, has pledged to purge its white, male employees in an effort to have a “more diverse and inclusive environment,” according to footage found on the company’s website. The company has seen its sales collapse since the disastrous Dylan Mulvaney advertisement campaign which wiped billions off the firm’s value, and chased millions of customers away.

In the video, one employee of Anheuser-Busch explains, “we’re still 40 percent women, and 60 percent men, still predominantly white: so there’s still work to be done.” The “work” to be “done” is apparently replacing white male workers with alternatives.

In doing this, another employee says, “I feel like I finally found my voice as a black woman, and I’m not prepared to lose it.”

Discussing the #CheerstoDiversityAndInclusion campaign, Anheuser-Busch’s European Diversity and Inclusion Manager, Lara Laila Gärber explains, “at AB InBev, what we wanted to do is ensure that diversity and inclusion is fully integrated in our business strategy.”

Anheuser-Busch has lost billions of dollars as a result of its decision to embrace diversity by partnering with Dylan Mulvaney for the now infamous ad campaign. The stock has also since been downgraded by HSBC.

#7  With regard to #5 and #3, AB seems to have an awful lot of brands under their control.

Antitrust time, anyone?

#5  @#3 - Yes, good point Slav. There are lots of beers out there under the AB/InBev umbrella, and they need to be identified and boycotted.

Becks, Hoegaarden, Jupiler, Leffe, among others.

#3  Forget Modelo, Pacifico, Corona, Stella Artois, all InBev owned. Go local craft beer!

#2  Looks like they will have a big opportunity to do some work on those ratios as it will soon be layoff time. If they were talking about union personnel, their ratios will end up worse.

#1  Wanta bet the new figures for the Straight customer population are in the lower teens?

Example: Our rural area mom & pop corner store just had BUD removed the floor display cases to use the floor space for something actually selling.

Spoke with the sales driver, asked if it was happening elsewhere. He pointed to the semi trailer and said I have to make another back to warehouse to unload.
