[REGNUM] According to psychological research, young transgender people are one of the groups most prone to radicalization. This is already manifesting itself in numerous "rainbow parades" and protests. And now they have begun to resort to violence with murder. The intensity of the confrontation on the issue of transgender people in the United States is higher than ever.
American society is increasingly divided over the issue of transgender people. More and more states are trying to fight back against the LGBT agenda. By the spring of 2023, 10 states had already passed laws restricting the practice of hormone therapy and gender reassignment for minors. Another 20 states are considering such a ban. But the transgender lobby is not giving up either.
Large-scale protests are taking place in the buildings of the Congresses of individual states. And some radicalized transgender people are already taking up arms.
Approximately one and a half percent of Americans identify themselves as transgender. The explosion of popularity of the transgender agenda is observed among young people - the generation of millennials and zoomers. The number of transgender people among young men and women in the United States has doubled in the past few years, and has increased by more than 1,000 percent in 10 years. According to various surveys, the proportion of transgender people among Americans under 29 is already at 5%, and it continues to grow rapidly.
In many schools in the US, from a very early age, they begin to tell children about the possibility of gender change, which leads to a rise in the number of transgender people.
A significant role in popularizing the transgender agenda is played by those who earn fabulous money selling hormonal drugs, puberty blockers for children, and performing sex change operations. This transgender industry has already grown into many billions of dollars. Last year, the revelations of a doctor at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee caused a big scandal. She urged with might and main to advertise hormone therapy practices, recognizing that this brings them enormous profits.
And in the state of Missouri, a scandal erupted around the St. Louis Children's Hospital.
There has been a separate “transgender center” there for several years. Employees of this institution appealed to the prosecutor's office, accusing their management of using experimental hormonal drugs on children without parental permission. Basically, children with diagnosed psychological disorders applied to this center. But instead of receiving psychological help, they were sent to hormonal therapy, which often led to suicide as a result.
The scandals surrounding the spread of the transgender agenda have led to the fact that many states have begun to restrict it.
Florida has been a pioneer in this direction. State Governor Ron DeSantis passed a law last year to curb LGBT propaganda in elementary schools. He also began to sue all organizations involved in gender reassignment practices for minors, squeezing them out of his staff. DeSantis even declared a whole war with Disney Corporation for promoting the LGBT agenda and deprived Disney parks in Florida of a special economic status with tax benefits.
DeSantis is now using his example of fighting the transgender lobby as one of the bases for his own 2024 presidential campaign.
In other states, things are much more turbulent.
For example, during the passage of a law banning gender reassignment surgery for minors in Oklahoma, LGBT activists temporarily took over the local Congress. In Texas, they threw a real tantrum at the hearings, comparing these restrictions almost with Nazi policies. And promising to respond with violence to such laws.
Indeed, the violence was not long in coming. A 28-year-old transgender man opened fire at a parochial school in Nashville, Tennessee. He killed three young children and three adults before being shot dead by police. The transgender left behind a "manifesto", in which he probably called the act of violence a kind of "protest" against laws restricting gender reassignment surgeries.
Therefore, in the future, such attempts to arrange shootings are likely to continue. And transgender people will turn into another group, like the far right, which they will begin to classify as radicals.
A separate issue concerns the participation of transgender men in women's sports.
A big scandal erupted around a "swimmer" from the University of Pennsylvania named Leah Thomas.
She beat all female swimmers to win the Ivy League varsity competition, setting a new record. Outraged parents of student swimmers then wrote open letters demanding that he be removed from participation in women's swimming. Officials from the US Olympic Committee for swimming defiantly resigned , calling what was happening utter madness. But they were unable to influence the situation.
Many international sports associations are now on the leash of transgender people for fear of being accused of "transphobia". Therefore, the participation of transgender people in women's sports will only increase.
Even more egregious are the numerous stories of transgender rape.
They are increasingly placed in women's prisons, where they actively force female prisoners to have sex. And according to statistics from the British penitentiary system, transgender people commit five times more rapes than other prisoners.
In general, public opinion in the United States is not on the side of transgender people anyway - most Americans consider their lifestyle immoral and oppose changing the sex of children or the participation of transgender people in women's sports. The current radicalization of the transgender lobby may turn its remaining supporters away from it in the long run.
