The West invents another Russia

[RIA] How is dialogue different from negotiation? The fact that the dialogue does not imply the desire to achieve a result: it simply allows you to hear the interlocutor, to find out his position. But is dialogue possible in time of war? No, because you don't talk to the enemy - you fight with him and strive to defeat him. In other words, by refusing to engage in dialogue with Russia, the West confirms what it does not want to officially recognize - it recognizes itself as being at war with our country.

That is why we hear what Emmanuel Macron said on Friday:
"We must find the strength and courage to build a dialogue with Russia, without which peace in Europe is impossible . But the time for dialogue has not yet come. At the moment, it is important to concentrate on intensifying military assistance to Ukraine."

But why do we need a dialogue with the West at all, if we already perfectly understand that it is with him that we are fighting for Ukraine ? The West still does not recognize the obvious - does not recognize Ukraine as part of the Russian world - and will continue, on the contrary, to expose us as aggressors, and itself as a victim of our expansion.

The problem is that we often confuse dialogue with negotiations. And if it really makes no sense for us to conduct negotiations now (and there is no one with anyone, because the only decision-making force is the Anglo-Saxons, confident that they will be able to keep and colonize Ukraine), then dialogue is always possible.

What is, for example, a meeting of the UN Security Council ? The same multilateral dialogue, including between Russia and the West. Yes, it now looks more and more like a series of monologues and declarations, but this is also an element of international relations, geopolitical struggle. Dialogue can no longer be needed by one of the parties: it is always needed by all parties if they want to have an idea of the position of their opponent or even the enemy. In the current situation of confrontation (practically war) between Russia and the West, no dialogue will lead to a solution to the issue of Ukraine's belonging - it will be resolved on the battlefield, but the very fact of the presence of representatives of the hostile parties on the same sites indicates their understanding of the seriousness of the moment and the desire to comply minimum rules of engagement.

That is why Russia and the United States do not break off diplomatic relations in order to maintain formal ties in a situation of severe conflict, symbolizing the absence of a direct war between the two superpowers. However, at the same time, the Anglo-Saxons are betting on the isolation of Russia in the world, part of which is the exclusion of our country from all kinds of international organizations and clubs. And if it is impossible to exclude us from the UN, but it did not work out of the G20, then the organizations created by the West are much more manageable, and therefore our participation is suspended. In some places, Russia itself withdraws from them - as was the case with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Everything is clear here: the field for dialogue is narrowing, they don't want to hear us, we don't want to speak in such an atmosphere. But at the same time, Russia, of course, is not going to leave the international structures created with its participation or even on our initiative, to the delight of the West. Then the West begins to act quite primitively: it simply refuses to issue visas to the Russian delegates.

This is exactly what was done in the summer with respect to the deputies who were supposed to come to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Birmingham - they were simply not given British visas. Because they were all on the UK and EU sanctions lists , and in general, Russia is the aggressor. But the OSCE is, after all, the heir to the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, that same "Helsinki-1975" at which East and West, the USA and the USSR , Western and Eastern Europe met . Fixed borders, human rights and general security. Without the USSR, Russia, this organization is meaningless: with whom will the NATO countries discuss their security - with themselves?

It is impossible to exclude Russia from the OSCE, so everything is decided only by such methods with non-issuance of visas. But next week, the regular session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will be held in Vienna , just on the anniversary of the beginning of the special operation, February 23-24. Here Austria took and issued visas to all Russian deputies, headed by Vice Speaker Pyotr Tolstoy . They say, yes, we know that they are on the EU sanctions lists, yes, we also have Schengen, but this is an international event, and the OSCE headquarters is in Vienna, we are obliged to ensure its work.

It would seem a trifle, although it emphasizes the stubborn attempts of Austria to stay in the last ranks of the anti-Russian coalition. Well, the Russian delegation will come to Vienna, speak at the session, the Europeans will blame us, we are the Europeans. Some kind of dialogue, albeit in a raised tone, however, even this is absolutely not necessary for that part of the Western elites, which has staked on the defeat and liquidation of Russia. Therefore, eight dozen OSCE PA delegates from 20 countries (a total of 57 states) sent a letter to the Austrian chancellor asking them to ban Russian parliamentarians from entering Austria, because "they have no place in an institution designed to promote sincere dialogue and counter war."

The Austrians are holding on so far, so there is a chance there will be a show in Vienna next week. Because, having not achieved a ban on the entry of Russians, some delegations may boycott the meeting - such an intention has already been announced, for example, by Lithuania (which, by the way, the Anglo-Saxons generally use as they please, it is enough to recall its games with Taiwan ), which is going to incite a joint demarche and other Nordic countries.

Part of the European elites do not want to see Russia - neither at home, nor in international organizations, nor on the world map. Instead of representatives of our country, they will communicate with Khodorkovsky and Kasparov, as is happening in Munich at a security conference. There, they even came up with a special event for "good Russians" called "Rethinking Russia" in order to discuss with them how later, after the defeat of Russia, to carry out "de-Putinization" in our country. That is, the Anglo-Saxons replace the dialogue with Russia with a monologue, while passing it off as a conversation with Russians - only "correct", "good" and "democratic".

This detachment from reality in itself testifies to the crisis of the Western worldview, to the inadequacy of the ruling elites, so that Americans and Europeans do not have to be surprised later on by the consequences of their crazy actions.

#2  ^ Such a closed mind. What of White Russia. You walk the streets of Russia at the border of Finland and you see a people more like Americans. Russia and China are vast countries as is India. Nations with many diverse peoples. Yet, they are unified to a greater degree than the west. Here in the West independent thought is discouraged (where you would never expect it to occur, an open society with limitations) and in many parts of the world. See the attacks on Seymour Hersh's publication. Western media has blacked him out. New revelations to follow but because we have alternate media the information will disperse. Despotism is here and now.

#1  Russia and Western Civilization is a non sequitur. Russia has forever been, and is now, an Oriental Despotism. Its incorporation in Europe is about as valid as incorporating Kazakhstan, or Morocco.
