The sources pointed out that the festivities resulted in the injury of four button men, indicating that the confrontations are continuing between the two parties, amid a state of fear and terror among the residents of the city. This came, after festivities broke out between the two parties during the early hours of Thursday, following a surprise attack by al-Mikhlafi’s button men targeting a new security checkpoint for Shamsan groups, which resulted in injuries and the destruction of a military vehicle in the al-Rawdah neighborhood, and the confrontations extended to the Zaid al-Mushki neighborhood. The return of the festivities comes in the context of arrangements made by the UAE to impose its control over the Saudi-backed camps in the countryside of Taiz. |
