Gaza’s interior ministry said the fire was caused by large amounts of gasoline improperly stored, fuelling the blaze that quickly engulfed the building. There were no survivors among those present in the apartment, the ministry said. Footage and pictures circulating on social media show the whole residential building caught fire in, sending huge flames and smoke from the site.
