#5  I'm looking at the Carson Range (backside of the Sierra's behind Tahoe) as I write this and they have a modest dusting of Snow so far. Temps next week forecast to be mid 30's days and mid teens nights). Snowpack is next years drinking/ag water and lord knows we can use all of it we can get. Snow on Voting day is perfect!

#4  Had a cabin in Truckee in the Light Ages (before Gov J. Brown). 4 foot of snow was referred to as a "light dusting" on the snowpack.

#3  Sorry guys, the proper name for that range of mountains is the "chichis" - "Chichi is a term used in Spanish slang that has a few different meanings. It can mean "breasts" or "nipples"
