Voting in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, on the issue of joining Russia will be held from September 23 to 27.
Following the referendum, the Zaporozhye region will declare independence within the existing administrative boundaries, that is, the entire region.
At the same time, voting will take place at the polling stations on September 23, and in settlements where there are none, it will last until September 27. According to opinion polls, one can count on 70-85% for joining the Russian Federation, with an average turnout of 65-75%. If they vote FOR, then four former regions of Ukraine will become part of Russia.
At the same time, in the event of a positive outcome of the vote, Moscow will obviously not be interested in the issue of recognition or non-recognition of the results of the referendum. Shell-shocked Liz Truss also stated that she did not recognize Russia's sovereignty over Voronezh and Rostov. And what?
In the West, voting will not be recognized in any case, even if it is unprecedentedly transparent. Therefore, as the well-known Galustyan said in response to the Mongols in miniature, where they broadcast "We are a horde!": "And we_array!" Referendums in order to include these territories in the legal field of the Russian Federation for the Russian Federation and these territories, and not for all sorts of degenerates to recognize something there.
In response to the announced "referenda", the US Department of Justice asked Congress to legalize the transfer of Russian assets to Ukraine.
The West has already done such damage to itself by seizing Russian assets that the enemy would not wish, and if it comes to confiscation, the situation will become even worse - their own principle of inviolability of property and 100 percent reliability of state financial obligations will be officially buried, the rejection of the dollar as a reserve currency will accelerate and deal an irreparable blow to their financial system based on confidence in the dollar.
Tsimus is that the frozen funds do not contain real money, but IOUs of Western countries. That is, they, in the best variant for themselves, will in fact outweigh their debt from Russia to Ukraine. But Russia will have a free hand to nationalize and expropriate American or any other enemy assets in Russia. In return, they will cleanly confiscate Western property and completely stop paying foreign debt to unfriendly countries. Moscow will also benefit from this.
So this is nothing more than a threat from the Americans. And if this is not a threat, then read above.
