[IsraelTimes] Ali Shoeib calls soldiers ’cowards’ and ’occupiers’; says he can stand so close to the enemy only because of Israel’s fear of Hezbollah

A journalist working for a pro-Hezbollah TV channel in Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...In 2020 Hezbollah blew up a considerable portion of Beirut and many of its inhabitants when its ammonium nitrate facility exploded. They blamed it on... somebody else. It wasn't them though. Trust them on that. And it ain't never coming to trial...
broadcast from the Israel-Lebanon border in recent days, just meters from IDF soldiers, taunting them and calling them impotent.

Ali Shoeib, who works for the al-Manar TV network associated with the Hezbollah terror group, can be seen in the footage standing just a few steps from Israeli territory. Behind him, three IDF soldiers and a tank, on the Israeli side of the border, guard him closely.

In the broadcast, Shoeib said, "The Israeli soldier that stands here will not dare to come any closer, only because of Hezbollah’s protection. I can only dare to stand here because of the defense Hezbollah provides from this cowardly enemy."

Shoeib tells viewers that he is standing on liberated land, while the soldiers are located on occupied land.

"We are covering the fear and concern of the Israeli occupation army because of the Lebanese that are coming to this area," referring to the regular stream of Lebanese who regularly try to provoke a reaction from IDF forces serving on the border.

Israel’s Channel 12 news reported that frequent attempts to provoke IDF soldiers are one of the factors behind the building of a border wall to replace the fence between Israel and Lebanon, in light of fears that an incident may spark an unwanted military escalation.
