#18  Well "War On Terror" was getting really long-in-the-tooth so they needed a new 'War On...' to follow the "War on Poverty", "War on Drugs", "War on Terror" cycles. I guess "War on Cancer" is up next. And like the others it will only make the problem worse while making certain elites even more filthy rich.

#12  Given NASA's recent failure to launch a rocket due to a plumbing problem, I would not lean on that 'Moonshot' thing too hard. It's bad salesmanship.

#10  If we cure all cancer that would add about 6 months to the average life expectancy. That's a good thing, but probably not the best bang for buck.

#9  Joe seems to be channeling an old West Wing episode where Pres. Bartlett needed to distract from his conning of the public and latched on the idea of curing cancer in 10 years just like JFK did for the space program

#7  Another 'endless war'.

Death is a pie chart. Moving the radii does not decrease the overall area of the chart.

#6  I think this is his third time declaring this so far this year. He was also supposedly doing this during the Obama administration's first two terms. It's his blanket that he wraps himself in whenever his incompetence gets too obvious.

#5  Now that Biden has gutted Medicare, we will see even more disease and death, from unknown causes (cancer).
