| #8 ^As somebody who spends time around a variety of Gen Z members, it's my observation that there's a lot of "being queer" but not a lot of actually having sex when it comes to them. Or having romantic relationships of even a Platonic nature. Or even serious "in person" friendships. So I'm not sure how seriously I take them on this subject. It may be all rather hypothetical. I'm honestly more concerned about their isolation as young people and their endemic depression than their sexual orientations. When I was young and you met a Tom of Finland looking dude, you knew *exactly* what that was all about. And that guy wasn't spending all day in his room by himself. The weird kid with the blue hair and eyebrow piercing probably is. Which is actually more sad IMO. It may be the Internet has broken us all. |
