- In total, 19 children and two teachers were murdered in the shooting
- Infamously, hundreds of law enforcement officers arrived at the scene of the shooting but waited over an hour before engaging the gunman
- Two of the five officers have already been suspended without pay as the investigation continues
- This new investigation comes on the same week that school students in Uvalde are returning to class for the first time since the massacre
This comes on the back of a massive $27 billion class action lawsuit seeking accountability and justice for the families of the victims that will be filed against law enforcement in Texas this month. |
