| #1 For somewhat more peaceful decompression vacations The NOC (Nantahala Outdoor Center) between Andrews and Cherokee, NC. Cabin Rentals & great Food US-64 Murphy to Highlands NC. to Ashville, NC - lots of great food places, scenic views and lodgings Sky Valley, Ga - Dillard GA area - views and good meals. Mountain City area, GA. views and good meals. square dancing & a Flea Market with interesting items. Raburn Co. Ga - Some locals jokingly hum the tune "Dueling Banjos" the movie Deliverance was shot in the Chattooga River gorge area and saying "Squeal like a pig" is still strongly frown on ☺. On the other side NC the "Outer Banks" in Off-Season low price rentals overlooking the Ocean and great just caught Seafood. |
