Alec Baldwin: 'Rust' shooting has 'taken years off my life'
2022-08-20
[PAGESIX] Alec Baldwin said his shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust" has "taken years off my life" and cost him professionally.
It took all the years off the victim's life, dinnit?
The "Boss Baby" star told CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
he’s lost five projects in the aftermath of Hutchins’ death, with industry leaders seemingly not wanting to risk hiring him.
Since he's about as popular as monkeypox, we can see why.
"I got fired from another job yesterday," Baldwin said. "There I was all set to go to a movie, jump on a plane ... I’ve been talking with these guys for months and they told me yesterday, ’We don’t want to do the film with you because of this.'"
"The plot has guns in it."
Baldwin, 65, also said he’s feared for his life after President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and whatever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
publicly said that he believed he shot the cinematographer on purpose. Baldwin said the stress from those fears has "taken years off my life."
Nobody loves you, Alec.
"There is just this torrent of people attacking me who don’t know the facts," he said.
Welcome to oblivion.
I'm glad to see there is no downside.

#18  Baldwin took even more years off his victim's life, Halyna Hutchins.

#17  Someone hands me a weapon, first thing I do is inspect the chamber. Never point a gun at anyone, unless you intend to use it. This piece of kak is guilty of negligent homicide. I don't see how else you can cut it.

#16  Maybe SNL will allow you to be Trump once more.

#15  Alec, it's not just this incident. This incident and your response to it was simply the last straw. Folks in power now can ignore you without anyone questioning their motives.

#14  Didn't take enough off apparently. You are still breathing, unlike your victim.

#13  Why do bad things happen to good people?
Then there is Alec Baldwin.

#12  "She will never grow old, I did her a favor! The carpel tunnel in my hands! My hands!"

*if anyone ever has doubts as to his character, the dialogue between him and stewardess in the beginning of Red October is just straight condescending. She flies for a living, she knows what air turbulence is FFS - is his idea of witty and charming.

I'm going to let my previous bet ride - he was drunk and 'in character' - but I am going to add a chip on 'Halyna said something to piss him off and he pointed and clicked on purpose in a bit of self rage'.

Its great. All that stuff the feministas rail against is this guy right here. And there they are, with their serious-face makeup on, quiet as a mouse in church.

#11  Yes, Alec. You are the real victim here.

#10  He hasn't punched out anybody lately, has he? Charm school must finally be paying off.

#9  This guy is beyond belief, nobody fired him for anything. He just can't be hired. Actors have to be bonded for projects. Things like felonies and even arrests or car wrecks can either nullify the bond or make them un-bondable in the first place.

With potential manslaughter/murder charges pending, who would bond him. Then there is that nagging 'detail' of having shot that poor woman at point blank range for no apparent reason in front of a crew of witnesses.

No expert I, but I'm going with Door #3, 'Not a Good Bond Risk'. Otherwise I can only quote Sterling Archer, 'Phrasing?!'.

#7  Baldwin said the stress from those fears has "taken years off my life."

Hey, it's a start. Keep stressing, you can't have THAT many years left. Scum. And murderer.

#6  It's all about him. He's the real victim here. He really cannot understand why he is being hurt.

#5  Took 'years off' Ms. Hutchins, too.

#4  I'd say he's tone deaf, but the truth is he considers himself the real victim and wants the world to think so too.

#3  Great to hear, Alec. I would not shed a tear if the aging process accelerates.
