The fighting age men are being stopped at the border, issued a rifle, and sent to the front lines. The rest are being sent off to safety. Thus far about five million have been sent out of country, with about a million returning in recent days.

#2  One thing I noticed -- refugees from the Ukraine tend to be women, children, and the elderly. While those from Muslim nations tend to be military-age males.

They're not men, because clearly if they are actually fleeing danger, they've left the women, children, and elderly to suffer.
