Had to look that up. Thanks... dammit. So, in what order should I watch all those godforsaken friggin' movies?

#13  I suspect he'll give up certain areas in order to get a peace treaty. I also suspect, like the Palestinians, he'll support constant agitation to reclaim the areas 'eventually'.

#12  Tamarian allegories should be all the rage on twitter someday.

Don't know if the current folks there could handle it, though. That might be considered “cultural appropriation” and that would be icky.

#8  Karzai Arcanum went twelve seasons. Even got a cameo as "Potential Talibanistan President" in Neocon: Generations Episode 1: Transitions - "In this episode the loose ends of closing the Afghanistan Campaign get cut while an emerging threat in the Ukraine Banking System makes itself visible.

#7  Zelensky channeling his inner Winston Churchill?
Posted by: magpie   2022-04-18 10:33

#6  Let's not be too hard on Zel. He is the star of his own movie.
One one hand, it is a fish-out-of-water comedy about an actor/comedian who becomes president of a corrupt Eastern European country.
On the other, it is the story of the plucky, handsome leader of a small country under attack who flies around the world pleading for help against his larger foe. His moving speeches have been well-received except in Israel where his references to the Holocaust bombed. (no pun intended)
With the right backers, this could be a long-running hit show.
