| [IsraelTimes] Regional Cooperation Minister Esawi Frej met with US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman in Washington, with the two discussing efforts to strengthen Israeli-Paleostinian economic ties in ways that will produce tangible improvements for the lives of Paleostinians while deepening Israel’s integration into the region, the State Department says. Sherman also takes the opportunity to offer her condolences regarding the recent terror wave in Israel that took the lives of 11 people. "They also spoke about efforts to expand normalization and the importance of building on normalization agreements to further progress on the Israeli-Paleostinian peace track," the state department says, with Sherman emphasizing the administration’s support for a two-state solution. |
