| Tribal infighting in Hasakah countryside leaves 4 people injured |

Al SHADDADI, Syria (North Press) – Four people were wounded on Tuesday to varying degrees, in a tribal infighting between the tribesmen of al-Mahasin tribe in the village of Sarab, in the northern countryside of al-Shaddadi. ”The cause of the fighting is due to an old dispute between two families of al-Mahasin tribe,” a local source from the village of Sarab told North Press. ”Three people were injured in the infighting. They were transported to hospitals in Hasakah and al-Shaddadi, and they are in good condition,” the source said. ” There has been tension in the region so far, amid appeals from the population to resolve the dispute between the two families.” The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) began investigating and searching for wanted persons to resolve this dispute, according to the source. Last February, a young man was seriously injured in a tribal infighting between al-Mahasin and al-Na’aim tribes in the village of al-Hariri, in the eastern countryside of al-Shaddadi.
