Woke School Board Members Recalled in San Francisco- really
2022-02-17
[NationalReview] San Francisco residents overwhelmingly voted to oust three of the city’s progressive school-board members on Tuesday. It was the culmination of a year-long effort to reform the board, which has been accused of prioritizing social-justice politics over reopening schools and managing the district’s troubled finances during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Returns started coming in around 9 p.m. in California, showing that more than 70 percent of voters supported recalling each of the three candidates: 79 percent voted to recall board member Alison Collins, 75 percent voted to recall board president Gabriela López, and 73 percent voted to recall board member Faauuga Moliga.

Moliga conceded defeat via Twitter shortly after the first returns were released. Turnout for the election was about 24 percent, with 119,718 of the 499,771 registered voters in San Francisco casting ballots, according to the Department of Elections.
In others words, those who really care really wanted them out. A warning portent for the election in November.

#13  The policy here, as I understand it, is you don't advocate for the assassination of a particular political individual. A particular type is, as they say, a hypothetical.

#12  Even the Wokissimus Wokus in San Francisco are getting clueful, figuring out the game:

#8  Yes. Her argument will be "she has a right to damage other people's lives." We may need to shoot a lot of politicians, lawyers and judges alongside ditches before that argument loses traction.

#7  ...I'm still waiting to see which one files a lawsuit first. My bet is Collins.

#6  "Education dollars" should be tied to the student. Let a million flowers bloom. Those who can't do teach. Those who can't teach administrate. All leeches sucking the life out of your kids' futures. Get your asses in gear, parents...

#5  Actually, I believe the 'school boards' and 'trustees' jobs should be given to the people you elect to state government. That way there is direct accountability in the election. Take the teachers' union money you don't work for the parents, see you next election. Allow Bolshevism on the campuses, see you next election. No bureaucracy to hide behind.

#4  School board is what you run for when you are not qualified to be dog catcher. Time to shut all gummint schools education scams. If your child is worth educating, that should be done under contract by qualified people who you can sue if they do a bad job.

#3  Probably a number of lefties dumped the school board because they were dumb enough to speak the unspeakable on camera. Not because they were actually teaching the unspeakable.

#1  I guess if you step in $hit enough times on the way to work that even San Fransisco’s leftists begin to wake up to terrible politicians and terrible policies.
