[REGNUM] In the Black Sea, joint exercises will be held to destroy naval targets of operational-tactical aviation of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Southern Military District (SMD) and naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF). This was reported on February 15 by the press service of the Southern Military District.
More than 50 tactical aircraft of the Air Force and Air Defense formation were redeployed to operational airfields for practicing missile launches and bombing at sea targets. Su-27SM, Su-30SM fighters, Su-24M and Su-34 bombers will take part in the tactical flight exercises in the Black Sea.
"The crews need to confirm the ability to fly in a difficult jamming environment in the absence of support from ground-based guidance and control systems, as well as flights at extremely low altitude above the water surface."
Aviation of the Black Sea Fleet and the Southern Military District will also escort naval strike groups of the fleet and perform other actions to ensure security in the Black Sea.
As REGNUM reported , the Russian and Belarusian crews of the Su-30SM fighters worked out joint patrolling of the border of the Union State as part of the Allied Resolve-2022 exercises.
