‘Why Is He Here': The Rock Gets Mocked After Cringe Worthy Super Bowl Open
2022-02-14
[Breitbart] Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson decided to take the field before Super Bowl LVI to fire up the crowd for the game. It did not have its intended effect.

Moments before the Rams and Bengals got set to do battle a cranberry-clad Dwayne Johnson appeared with a microphone and proceeded to let fly with a dozen different cliche big game event opening lines.

#25  ^ no, "23" would likely be misinterpreted as whi' s'premaciss code referencing chromosomal pairs / genetic superiority / cis-heteronormative transphobia.

And GunViolence.

#24  Perhaps the 23rd, Wednesday, for the number of points The Rams scored?

#23  Parents of kids who are forced to wear masks in school should pick a day and send their kid to school, maskless, and in a Rams jersey/flare.

#21  If M&M, which are now gay, really cared he would have held up a crack pipe with the presidential seal.

#20  Sorry i missed it ; watch the bread mold in the kitchen. Based on reports sounds like rap is the only music choice and after seeing the crap nascar put out last week, if they do it again withe the 500, i am done. Back to bread-watching.

#19  I'm a Von Miller fan so was cheering for the Rams. It's good that the Rams won to counter the facemask not being called in the 2nd half IMO considering the momentum involved.
Yes I watched, not proud of supporting the NFL especially watching Eminem take a knee. At least the players didn't.
Not a big fan of rap, and was surprised by all the kudos given the halftime entertainment by folks. Just showing my age hah. I'm still a big Rock fan

#18  The defensive holding only one person saw?

Came in with about 4 to go in the 3rd. I have a feeling the best part of the show was the commentary.

My favorite commercial had to be the one placed by the NFLPA about how much money, millions, had been donated to domestic abuse helpline.....me, by myself, out loud: "yeah, in fucking league fines."

#17  Gotta wonder how much money Newsom spent on all those ads promoting California. Of course, if he hadn't screwed the state up so badly it wouldn't have been necessary.

#15  The best part of the game was the crappy and questionable officiating at the end that basically gave the Rams multiple retries until they finally score.

#14  It was a pretty good football game. Lots of defense, some great pass plays, and a 47-yard TD pass 12 seconds into the second half. The Rams were stunned, but they recovered.

It was certainly an interesting choice.

#10  Someone needed to tell Mary J that she was too fat to wear that outfit.

As for Eminem, I didn't even connect the "knee" thingy. I thought he was posing for dramatic effect since his lines were done. Fuck 'em, I'm not your enemy, but I am your meal ticket. Those hosers might want to remember that.

#9   The fans wanted to see Eminem take a knee

Apparently this actually happened. Pity. Otherwise, it could be Snark of the Day.

#4  Too bad B...cause you missed a most inspiring Hip/Hop, crotch grabbing, Thunder-Thigh Mary J Blige and assorted BLM supporter extravaganza. I watched the half-time show only to see how bad it would be. It greatly expectations along those lines.
Posted by: Warthog   2022-02-14 08:24

#3  Totally ghetto, with swaggering shit-culture halftime entertainment. Even the white QB dresses like a pimp....

Done with this sport and basketball. Another American tradition ruined by these neanderthals

#2  I didn't watch it. I don't get NBC.

#1  The Super Bowl's WWE Wrestlemania opening obviously fell flat. The WOKE Disney animation adverts were even worse. I walked away before the half.
