MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – A drone, believed to be of Turkey, bombed on Saturday the northern countryside of Manbij, north Syria. The outskirts of the village of Umm Adasa, on the front line between the Manbij Military Council (affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces-SDF) and the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, northwest of Manbij was bombed today. “The drone was launched from the Turkish base in the village of al-Yashli, north of the village of Umm Adasa, and it bombed some houses in the outskirts of the village,” North Press reported a field source. However, no other details, on causalities or material damage were reported by the source. Late in 2021, villages in the northern and western countryside of Manbij were intensely bombed by the Turkish forces, killing a woman and her child, and causing material damage to the property of the residents.

The village of Arab Hassan in the northwestern countryside of Manbij was also hit with light and medium weapons by the Turkish forces and the opposition factions, the source added. Hours before, a drone believed to be of Turkey had bombed the outskirts of the village of Umm Adasa, on the front line between the Manbij Military Council and the Turkish-backed opposition factions, northwest of Manbij.
