Missing Florida woman last seen swimming in alligator-infested river
2022-01-09
[NYPOST] Authorities in Florida have released chilling footage of a missing woman swimming and wading in an alligator-infested river before she vanished.
Oh, golly! I wonder what happened to her?
Paola Miranda-Rosa, 31, who authorities say is schizophrenic,
...and who clearly didn’t see a need for treatment, with sadly predictable results....
was reported missing by her family three weeks ago after she was last seen at a relative’s Orlando apartment.
"I think I'll go for a swim."
"No, I don't feel like it."

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office revealed this week that hikers had since come forward to say they spotted the missing woman in Wekiva Springs State Park on Dec. 18 — a day after her family last saw her.
"It's a hot day."
"Not that hot. It's the middle of December."
"In Florida."

The hikers gave Sherlocks a video they took of the woman swimming solo in the river.
"I'm going in."
"No, I'm not. The river's full of alligators."
"They won't bother me. I ain't never been bit by an alligator."

Family members identified the woman in the video as Miranda-Rosa, the sheriff’s office said.
"Yessir, that's them."
Authorities have been using high-tech underwater camera systems to trawl roughly 4.5 miles of the river near where Miranda-Rosa was last seen.
"The water's fine."
"I shouldn't be here."
"Look at that cute alligator over there."
"He's a big 'un!"
"Lookidat! He's coming over to play."
"I wish I'd stayed on the shore."

They have also been scouring the woods on either side of the river for any trace of her.
Check the stomachs of the alligators that look particularly satisfied.
She self-identifies as She/Her/Lunch

#1  The Lady and the Crocodile
Oh, she sailed away on a sunny summer day,
On the back of a crocodile.
“You see,” said she, “he’s as tame as he could be,
“I’ll float him down the Nile.”
Well, the croc winked his eye as she waved to them goodbye,
Wearing a happy smile,
At the end of the ride, the lady was inside,
And the smile was on the crocodile!
