’s car on Thursday and then claimed he tried to run them over in the parking garage."We blockaded Joe Manchin's car and he tried to run us over," states a video posted to @hungry4climatejustice’s TikTok account of the incident."Pass climate change bills!" screamed one of the activists.

"This is Joe Manchin's car slowly pressing into our people protesters," said another.

Several then began shouting "we want to live!" While others could be heard chanting "F*** Joe Manchin."

The effort was part of an attempt by the progressive left to pressure Manchin into supporting the massive reconciliation bill.

The group's Twitter account also shared other videos of them harassing the West Virginia Democrat before the garage incident.

Other progressive accounts picked up on the encounter and the false claim that Manchin was trying to run them over.

If I could drive (buy) a Maserati, I WOULD. A 2021 Maserati is $94K (low end, higher end is ~$150K) and apparently a damned fine car. Less than many cars (and more than many). A vette would be more 'me' though.

Manchin, in a Maserati, should've lit up the tires (hit the brakes - power burnout) and gave them a smoke show.

#1  I believe Manchin handled the situation well, being stalked from his yacht to his SUV, and extricating himself from the parking garage, showed me calm perseverance. While I am not a Dem, and politics in this situation is not directly on the table, his handling of this situation shows me a the mark of a strong, balanced mindset.
Disagree - But think, if it were you, what would you have done, under pressure, when a mob was after you and or members of your family or staff.
