As of 18 May 2020, there have been 3,502 coalition deaths in Afghanistan as part of ongoing coalition operations (Operation Enduring Freedom and ISAF) since the invasion in 2001. in 2020 alone, 38,680 people died in motor vehicle traffic crashes It could be argued that AFG is actually safer than US highways. |
