| #3 there are still Chicago cops doing what they can to stem the violent crime that plagues so many of the city’s neighborhoods. The drop in law enforcement can be seen in the arrest rates for murder in Chicago. during the 90's, the arrest rate for murder was 30%. This was a low rate, but justified because the chief suspect in each case would themselves be shot before the police could arrest them. Now the arrest rate in Chicago is less than 10%, and it is obvious that the police are no longer a deterant to criminal activity. Spert |
