| #1 Back in '94 there was a similar rise in lumber when I had my house built. The builder used steel instead, it was cheaper at the time. Only issue I've had is that 'home renovation' isn't going to be HGTV style cause you can't just cut any beams. Nailing baseboard at the corner joints gets a little tricky. |
