| [EpochTimes] Portland's mayor struck a new tone on Friday [4-23-2021] as he called for residents to help "unmask" people behind the continued violence in Oregon's largest city. In his most urgent appeal yet, Mayor Ted Wheeler encouraged whoever has information about the self-described anarchists who are committing crimes in late-night riots to contact the police. | #14 This feckless mayor is a little late to the game. Unmasking the rioters shouldn't be a difficult task if you are really serious and not just posturing for politics. Let's go to the next steps with arrests and prosecutions and slammer time. |

| #12 Maybe I'm missing something but if you actually arrested a few rioters, and didn't let them go an hour later, you might be able to figure out who they are. In fact you might find they give up a few friends when threatened with taking the fall for hundreds of days of damage. |

| #10 "Just say no". Who gives a crap if Portland burns to the ground? It might be an improvement. The suburbs of Detroit haven't significantly noticed the "lack" of a city center, despite liberal whining about the ongoing death of the city for numerous decades. |

The normalcy of riots, food rationing, electricity rationing, the removal of civic order, acceptance of violence, self defense is a health issue. Health issues as governable social issues. | #7 I would advise residents to tell the mayor to fuck off. It's obviously a ruse to get details of all those who report such crimes. Some wakandan or secret antifa grunt in the establishment will be used to release addresses of all who reported on these terrorists and they will find themselves hunted. |
