Wakandan breakaway: Atlanta mayor signs executive order 'mitigating impact' of Georgia voting law
2021-04-07
[Washington Examiner] The mayor of Atlanta issued an executive order designed to limit the influence of Georgia's new voting law, which she says restricts the vote.

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, a Democrat, signed the administrative order, which will "develop a plan of action to mitigate the impact on City of Atlanta residents of the voting restrictions imposed by Senate Bill 202," on Tuesday, defying the sweeping voting law signed by Republican Gov. Brian Kemp.

"The voting restrictions of SB 202 will disproportionately impact Atlanta residents — particularly in communities of color and other minority groups," Bottoms said. "This Administrative Order is designed to do what those in the majority of the state legislature did not — expand access to our right to vote."

#7  The "Executive Order" is to "develop a plan".

#6  Notice they're NOT going to make sure people have proper ID, which would be the easiest way to "mitigate the impact".

#3  So go for it..more fodder for the upcoming Nullification of Fed over-reach in red states.

BTW - "Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, a Democrat" a bit redundant don't you think? Perhaps Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms(W) for Wakandan might be more apropos.

So is Mayor Bottoms is either saying her voters are to lazy or too stupid to acquire a FREE GA VOTER ID to Vote properly.

Or is she worried that Atlanta's (Fulton/Cobb co) voter rolls once properly cleaned purged will prove Massive Voter Fraud?

Thus allowing the GBI to start an investigation.
DESPITE the GA SOS open attempts to avoid and stall it.

#1  No surprises here. Kicking 'selective enforcement' up a notch. They're a nation unto themselves.
