  • Illegal migrants said they’re coming to the U.S. because of President Joe Biden, natural disasters and violence in their home countries.

  • A landowner where migrants frequently cross on their way to a processing facility said they tell him they’re here because Biden invited them.

  • Some of the migrants said they did not want to leave their countries but had to because of corruption and a lack of opportunity.

#6  Years ago I taught a class in India. Several of the students said their goal was to come to America. I jokingly suggested they learn Spanish and go to Mexico first.

#4  I can certainly sympathize with these people wanting to leave corrupt and destitute lands, but it's not my problem. Coming here however, makes it my problem. A pox on the politicians on both sides of the border who permit it to happen.

As for natural disasters -- can you imagine if every time the US was struck by a tornado or hurricane or earthquake or blizzard, the population picked up and moved to Central America?
