6 Ukrainian sailors released from captivity |

[KORRESPONDENT] In Nigeria today, January 30, six Ukrainian sailors were freed from pirate captivity. This was announced by President Vladimir Zelensky on Instagram. "Today, 6 Ukrainian sailors were released - members of the crew of the ship Stevia, who were held in pirate captivity in Nigeria for a month and a half," Zelensky wrote. Also, the president said that the sailors are now safe and are expected to arrive in Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also thanked Ukrainian diplomats and everyone who was involved in the release of the sailors. |
