| Ghor Council Deputy Killed in IED Blast |

| [KhaamaPress] Local sources in Ghor province say a magnetic mine blast near Ghor provincial council has killed the deputy head of the provincial council, injuring two others. Mohammad Arif Aber, the front man for the governor of Ghor, said on Tuesday that a vehicle carrying members of the provincial council had been the target of an IED attack. The blast occurred near the provincial council building at around 1 p.m., reports indicate. He added that the deputy head of the provincial council Abdul Rahman was killed, and another member of the provincial council Abdul Rahim Rezazadah was maimed in the blast. This is the second government official to be killed in Magnetic IED attacks on Tuesday. In another incident, Mohammad Nabi, a civilian prosecutor was assassinated in PD2 of the provincial center in Kandahar, Jamal Naser Barakzai front man to the Kandahar Police told Khaama Press. |
