| [Bongino Report] President Donald Trump launched Operation Warp Speed on May 15th 2020 to catalyze the creation of a vaccine to stop the coronavirus, and in record time they’re now being distributed nationwide. President Trump promised a vaccine by the end of the year even before the creation of Operation Warp Speed, and now we have just that. It cannot be understated just how serious an accomplishment this is. Prior to this vaccine, the fastest vaccine ever brought to market was the mumps vaccine — which took four years. With the introduction of the vaccine the coronavirus will go from something the world simply has to live with, to an eradicable disease. Millions to tens of millions of lives globally will be saved over the course of future decades thanks to Operation Warp Speed — and you can expect the media to grant Trump credit for none of it. And while Operation Warp Speed was hard at work, the entirety of the media pushed the same narrative: what Trump promised simply wasn’t possible. Here’s just a sampling. |
