#14  In view of this Rantburg report, it's seems like Hillary is trying to make it easier for certain foreign entities to invade USA.

#10  Deep savings that can be spent on vote buying (as hers is already sold to the Chinese).

#9  One of the few legitimate functions of the state is defense against outside threats.

So of course that's the one thing the statists don't want to do.

#8  This is certainly the most ringing endorsement of the F-35 I've heard.

#7  Or we can cut off the supply of American dollars that the Chinese use to fund their expansion. But then the Clinton Family Foundation will be hardest hit.

#4  Look at the federal budget in 1960. Defense was nearly 50%. Today its 12-15 percent depending on what you all lump into defense. The overall amount being spent hasn't changed. What has changed and grown like a cancer is spending not described in the Constitution aka entitlements. If you want real saving, cut there.

#3  Bought and paid for.

Here's a place for deep savings - entitlements. Where in the constitution is it authorized? Slash the welfare check by half - limit availability to 5 years / lifetime.

(And no - social security, unemployment, and medicare are not entitlements for those who paid into them)

#2  I know where "deep savings" in global oxygen levels can be found.
