Best place to see the night sky is from Antarctica's highest dome ‐ the coldest place on Earth where stars seem to 'twinkle' the least

#3  There's a sauna in the station at the South Pole. (Scandinavian influence, no doubt.) I'm told that winter-overs have a 300-degree club. When the temp outdoors is -100, the participants crank the sauna up to 200, and then run outside naked. Briefly. I don't think I could stand either extreme...

#2  The stars don't twinkle there, but you're shivering so hard that the effect is the same.

#1  Of course there is less "twinkling" in Antarctica. Al least outside, where your stream freezes even before it hits the ground.
