#4 Well, it sort of was in the Caribbean and Central/South America. Death rates were high and survival rates low. The damn English didn't want to waste property and the death rates were marginal compared to those locales. |

#2 Today's educational institutions no longer want people like Starkey hanging around. At 75, he's a reminder of the past. The loss can be marked up to Cambridge. Good on you professor. Time to head north for some fish fresh air and fishing. |
