| #8 This could be an indication of the local public health infrastructure being overwhelmed and thus many seriously ill patients being denied care. If the numbers (including the leaked/rumored ones) are true this would indicate that hospital care drastically reduces fatality rates in serious cases. OTOH without hospital care fatality rates seem to be disturbingly high. |

| #5 besoeker, chris So far, per Chinese govt info, Xinjiang province has 39 confirmed infections, no deaths If the govt info is correct about 95% of the fatalities are in Hubei province and about 94% of the confirmed infections are there also. |

| #2 maybe the Chinese are undercounting but other nations aren't and so far, IUC, there have been no coronavirus 2020 fatalities outside China |
