"Politicians and diapers should be changed often, and for the same reason"

#6  We have term limits for state legislators in California. It hasn't worked very well. The legislature is still controlled by a super majority of Democrats and they're running the state into the ground. Their plan is to make it all just like San Francisco and Los Angeles; crowded, expensive, dysfunctional and shitty.

#4  Problem with term limits is that it tends to increase the power of the bureaucracy.

The Deep State becomes the source of all knowledge about how and why things get done.

Not saying that can't be dealt with but it is something that needs careful consideration.

#2  Term limits has worked well locally. They keep people from being in government long enough to become too corrupt and steal.

#1  Hey, Newt, you didn't even make an serious effort to introduce the Term Limits amendment when you got the speaker job.

Term Limits for everyone in each branch!
