New ISIS Supremo is Abdullah Qardash
2019-11-01
[THESUN.CO.UK] A FORMER officer in Saddam Hussein’s army has today taken over as the new leader of ISIS
...embracing their inner Islamic Brute...
after the terror group finally confirmed the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Abdullah Qardash ‐ known as the Professor ‐ has now assumed day-to-day control of the jihadi group - who heralded the news by vowing to target the US.

Confirming Qardash's new role, ISIS stated: "Whosoever fulfils what he has covenanted with Allah...he will bestow on him a great reward."

Qardash is a former officer in Saddam Hussein’s army who grew close to Baghdadi, 48, when they were both tossed in the slammer
Please don't kill me!
in Basra by US forces for their links to al-Qaeda in 2003.

It was in the Iraqi prison that Baghdadi became a jihadist demagogue converting hundreds of prisoners to his sick vision of a so-called caliphate.

Qardash, whose age is unknown,
... but is thought to be about 40...
is believed to have worked alongside him ever since, reports The Times.

The Iraqi worked as the death cult’s top politician before his promotion to leader in waiting, it has been reported.

His nickname is the Professor and is known as a ruthless policymaker in the group.

Qardash was also a confidante of Abu Alaa al-Afri,
...former physics professor and head of regional emirs for ISIS, he was briefly acting head of the organization during Abu Bakr al-Baghdad’s recovery from being airstruck, but then an American missile reached out to touch al-Afri more permanently...
Baghdadi’s previous deputy, who was killed in a US helicopter gun raid in 2016.

Since the fall of Baghuz, ISIS’s last urban stronghold in March, the group has been reduced to pockets of resistance across the two countries.

Qardash faces a divided leadership, some of whom may reject his vision and strategy, reports The Times.

With its members scattered in cells across a huge sweep of desert that spans two countries, three main factions have emerged, gathered around Tunisian, Saudi and Iraqi leadership.
An Nahar has a different name for the new guy:
The Islamic State jihadist group confirmed the death of its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a statement Thursday and named his replacement as Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi.

#8  Netflix is about to start any day now, with a dramatic account of the rise of an idealistic young acolyte to an emir in an 'extremist' faction of the religion of peace. Trying to be a good guy as well as lead an army of misunderstood zealots, each with their own little story of victimization and islamic hope, or ass-buggerry. Something humanizing sasquatches like Narcos, Mayans and Sons of Anarchy does for meth peddling pimps and child raping p0rn0graphers.

I won't be syrprised.

#1   Qardash, whose age is unknown,

That should be easy, birth date should be on record in the regime files. Unless they were destroyed.

It seems whoever he has worked for or been close to in the past two decades died a 'orrible death.
