Jesuit Chief: No Country Has the Right to Turn Away Migrants
2019-08-25
[BREITBART] The superior general of the Jesuits declared this week that no country has the right to turn away migrants colonists, claiming the land belongs to everyone.

"The challenge for a country that receives migrants colonists is not only reception, but integration, which means receiving the contribution that immigrants colonists bring," said Jesuit Father Arturo Sosa Abascal in an interview with Tempi.it.

"They come to make a contribution, which is greater than what they receive from the host country," he claimed, seemingly without evidence.

"Italians must remember their own experience," he continued.

"They came to Latin America, including my country of Venezuela
...a country in Central America that sits on an enormous pool of oil. Formerly the most prospereous country in the region, it became infested with Commies sniffing almost unlimited wealth. It turned out the wealth wasn't unlimited, the economy collapsed under the clownish Hugo Chavez, the murder rate exceeds places like Honduras and El Salvador, and a significant proportion of the populace as refugeed to Colombia and points south...
, and they were welcomed; they became part of society in the same way as everyone else, and today they are not considered ’different’," he said, drawing a somewhat dubious comparison between the largely legal migration of Italians to South America and Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
’s largely unregulated migrant crisis.

"In Europe we must recognize the contribution that migrants colonists make to the societies that receive them and thank them for it," the Jesuit added.

Then, in one of his more controversial claims, Father Sosa said that nations have no right to enforce their borders because in the end, the land belongs to everyone.

"Those who live in a given territory have no right to turn away migrants colonists," he said, "because they have no absolute right to that territory. They do not own it; the goods of the land are for everyone."

#12  Every country has the right to turn away Jesuit proto- (or actual) pedophiles

#11   The superior general of the Jesuits

I wonder who would win in a fight between the Jesuits and the Salvation Army?

#10  Dron nailed it.

The Jesuits especially and the Church generally long ago placed their chips on Latin America and Africa and wrote off their declining northern congregations in Europe and N. America.

It's all politics. This latinx padre is mouthing the same political strategy as the Emerging Democratic Majority blueprint published by the Democratic Party strategist Ruy Texeira 15 years ago: import 40-50 million latinos into the US, regardless of whether they have needed skills or can or will assimilate, and watch the share of vote/share of the religion market climb.

#9  I'm sorry but their contribution is too heavily weighted in disease, crime and assorted sins of which we are already well supplied.

If these contributions are so wonderful they should take them home and convert those to utopias.

#8  Not yours to say since the treaties of Westphalia, 1648. No one asked the Vatican for approval. And Napoleon did away with the old Holy Roman Empire thingy a bit later, and long ago.

BTW, 'No Country Has the Right to Turn Away Migrants' means the Native Americans have no beef. They can't be victims. Try straightening out the logic on that intersectionality.

#5  Funny he should say that, "They come to make a contribution..."

Freudian slip ? The latin American immigrants in America must earn their denomination millions, most of which is spent in the regalia and investments of the professional priesthood, doing absolutely nothing for the country itself. Probably why they hide them in churches and espouse such political doctrine.

To their way of thinking, the State has no right to evict Selena from the land, even if every one of her spawn is a multiple murderer, and she the accountant of their little clan. Just as long as one of her daughters can sing a good offertory song.

'One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.' Exodus 12:49

The problem is not with immigrants, it is with illegal immigrants. Those who use nefarious means and criminal activity to infiltrate and stay here. Those who commit crimes, are deported and commit fraud to stay on, build whole clans and roots in the system. Those leeching the resources of actual citizens, illegally. Does the Friar think people should be free to almost wage war on a host nation ?

Vipers.

#4  Amen, newc.

What else do you expect of 'the black pope' ? As if a white one were any different.

#2  Son; we need Borders, Language, and Culture, as having a tower of Babylon is unbearable, as you fail to see.

Take a real look around and then disjoin that Parish - I will Never have another Jesuit Pope again.

What you have done is help no one on this earth but to prolong agony some states must go through. You are stealing from your Citizens for economic refugees. Property Rights IS the Core of the Bible.

You have ALL lost your minds.

And time of Return is today

#1  Father: Y'all take responsibility for your thousands of pedophiles - including the hundreds whom the Church protected and shuttled from one (ahem) jurisdiction to another on the opposite side of the earth - and THEN we can have a discussion about rights and responsibilities regarding "migrants."

Your move, Father.
