Afghan forces conduct a night raid storming a Taliban compound in Ghazni

compound during a night raid in south-eastern Ghazni province killing at least 9 Talibs.

The 203rd Thunder Crops said in a statement that the security forces conducted the raid in the outskirts of Ghazni city.

The statement further added that the security forces killed 9 Taliban and confiscated a PKM machine gun, 2 Ak-47 rifles, a pistol, a radio set, 2 binoculars and some other military kits.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the raid so far.

Saif-ul-Jihad, Taliban’s economic commission chief among 21 killed in Special Forces raids

[KhaamaPress] The Special Forces conducted night raids in Ghazni province on Wednesday triggering heavy clashes which continued until 1:30 am on Thursday.

The Provincial Governor’s Office said in a statement that the Special Forces conducted the raids in Nogha, Qarabaghi and Dagha areas located in the outskirts of Ghazni city, close to Gabru area of Andar district.

The statement further added that the Special Forces killed 21 Taliban militants including Qari Esmat alias Saif-ul-Jihad, the shadow economic commission chief of Taliban.

Furthermore, the Ghazni Govenror’s Office said the security forces and local residents did not suffer casualties during the operations.

The Special Forces also confiscated 8 motorcycles and various weapons and munitions during the operations.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the raids so far.
