Revived Iranian destroyer to be equipped with vertical launch missiles |

[ALMASDARNEWS] A recently revived Iranian naval destroyer will be fitted with a vertical launch missile system, an Iranian commander stated, as reported by the Tasnim News Agency. #3 If it is the same ship that ran aground and sank in Jan 2018, then it can't be healthy working and living surrounded by rust. Wonder how the equipment works after rusting for a year. |

#1 The Caspian Sea has a lot of mineral and oil production possibilities. Russia and Azerbaijan also border the Caspian. So, there is some reason for Iran to have a Naval presence there. Also, Russia's ships in the Caspian have been used to launch missiles at targets in Syria so Iran may want to do the same. Of course, it helps if the ships you use don't sink. |
