s in support of the Afghan ground forces in Kandahar and Zabul provinces killing at least 15 snuffies and wounding 9 others.The 205th Atal Corps in a statement said airstrikes were carried out against Talibs in Band-e-Temor area of Maiwand district in Kandahar killing at least 15 snuffies and wounding 5 others.
The statement further added that similar airstrikes were carried out against Talibs in Muqorak area of Meezan district in Zabul which critically maimed 4 Talibs.
In addition, 4 compounds of the snuffies were destroyed and a 82mm rocket launcher, a weapon and a night vision goggle were also confiscated, the 205th Atal Corps said.
The statement also added that the Afghan forces also discovered and defused six improvised bombs during the same operations.
