[MAIL] The Academy Award-winning actress went on to explain that she had pneumonia in both lungs and was 'septic,' meaning that she had a potentially life-threatening condition in which the body is fighting a severe infection that has spread via the bloodstream. 'And yes,' she continued, 'I came very, very close to leaving the Earth. Good news: I didn't.'
She went on: 'Thank you for all of your good wishes, all of the wonderful things that people have been saying. Even people who aren’t huge fans of mine have actually been saying nice thing about me.'
The comedienne then joked that 'all that is gonna change' when she returns to the daytime talk show, drawing laughter from the live studio audience at The View.
